How Silver Is Used

Why buy physical silver? Well, we know silver is an excellent hedge against inflation and protects the buying power of your money. Six years ago we bought a 1 kg silver bar for around R8,500.00. Today, a 1 kg silver bar is R19,262.00. Can you imagine what the price will be if silver goes back up to $30 an ounce from $23.50 at the moment? The world’s financial systems are at breaking point and there does not seem to be a solution in sight. Unless the democrats and the republicans can find a solution for the US debt ceiling fast, the US will go into a recession. The stock market will loose 50% of its value and about 10 million jobs would be lost. The US dollar will crash. I do however think they will come to an agreement to lift the debt ceiling. They really cannot afford not to.
